Can the top material be left on the frame when taking down, so when putting back up, it's already on there? Also, can you spray water repent spray on the top material to make it more waterproof? Or is there something you suggest we could put on the material to protect it more?
The top can be left on for easier set up the next time. You can use a waterproof spray, but it will void the warranty. You can also take it to a local boating shop to waterproof the material.

Best canopy for the money
I have tried several other brands of canopies only to be disappointed with the quality of the product. The saying goes “You get what you pay for” and it sure is true in this case. This canopy is heavy duty, the frame is easy to put up and take down. The top and sides are heavy duty as well unlike other canopies that use material so thin it rips in just a few uses.
It costs more for a Carvan canopy, but it will last you for many years if you take care of it. I give it 5 stars!
